Statement of Faith

  1. WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the true and final authority in matters of life and doctrine.
  2. WE BELIEVE in the Trinity - God manifest in three persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is God who became man (apart from sin) for the purpose of redeeming us from our sins, and that His atoning death is the only means by which we may attain salvation.
  4. WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ arose from the dead and is in heaven today, interceding for the saints, and preparing a glorious, eternal home for them.
  5. WE BELIEVE and understand from the scriptures, that the true Church is composed of all those who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and who are thus born into the family of God.
  6. WE BELIEVE that all those who have been born again by personal faith in Jesus Christ are eternally secure as God's children, and can never lose their salvation.
  7. WE BELIEVE in, and practice, the ordinances of baptism by immersion, and the Lord's Supper.
  8. WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ will return to take all believers to be with Him in heaven for all eternity.
  9. WE BELIEVE in the coming eternal conscious judgment and banishment from God's presence of all who reject His gracious offer of salvation.
